Creating a standard for a standards setter

ASTM International is a world leader in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) standards and education. I was tasked with creating a site for their new endeavor, the Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence. The site would feature educational resources, workshops, and events for industry leaders and students across the globe. Because of the nature of the organization, AMCoE needed a large amount of content to be on their site, but it still needed to be intuitive and accessible. We created a site that uses several nested menus specific to sections of the site to simplify the header. We also heavily utilized internal linking to ensure that users could work their way through the site in a way that felt natural.

Note: Clients have full ownership of their sites once they are completed so I don’t link to live sites because I can’t guarantee that the site has remained how I designed it.
